With over 30 years of experience in senior care, Liza Naumann, MS, CCC-SLP, has dedicated her life to helping aging adults maintain their dignity, independence, and ability to communicate. Having worked extensively in nursing homes, assisted living communities, adult daycares, group homes, and homecare settings, Liza has seen firsthand how the industry has changed. As many eldercare services have become increasingly corporate and profit-driven, Liza felt a deep calling to return to what matters most: compassionate, personalized care.
That calling led to the founding of Compassionate Care with Liza, a private-pay service with a focus on providing high-quality senior care ands speech therapy services to clients across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Liza believes in taking the time to truly know each client, understand their needs, and provide care that’s rooted in kindness, respect, and clinical expertise. Whether helping a stroke patient regain speech and swallowing function, supporting seniors with cognitive-communication challenges, or providing the daily services a client needs to function at home, Liza’s approach is deeply personal and entirely focused on the well-being of those she serves.
